Tour around the Lodge

This tour is a reconnaissance tour made by the surroundings of the Jaguar Toca, where all the sustainability of the lodge will be presented, such as plants and vegetables used in regional cuisine, as well as the orchards of cassava and manioc and various fruit trees.

Canoeing

This tour is a reconnaissance made by canoe oar by the igapós (flooded forest) of Rio Preto da Eva and its bed. During the course you can swim, listen to the noises of the forest and observe fish or porpoises, animals in the trees like monkeys, sloths, toucans and other birds, terrestrial animals such as agouti, capybara, tapir and, with luck, an ounce, the largest cat in the Amazon Forest.

Cayman Spotting

During the night we went out to watch caymans, and other nocturnal animals. Our guide pilots the boat with a flashlight on the banks of the river looking for caymans, who are immediately paralyzed and red-eyed by the light, denouncing their exact position. An cayman is captured and brought aboard the boat for examination. Then it is returned to the river, unharmed.

Sunset in the Amazon

During the late afternoon and evening we observe the wonderful changes of color of the Amazonian sky and the sun, under the songs of birds, frogs and crickets, as well as other animals of nightlife.

Jungle Hike 1

On this tour, always done on little explored trails, our guide will pass on the basics of survival in the jungle, providing explanations on the Amazonian wildlife and showing the plants that are edible, medicinal and useful for the day to day native. During this tour you will visit a waterfall called "New Waterfall" and you can bathe in its cold and limpid water, thus replenishing your energies immediately.

Sunrise in the Amazon

During dawn we set off for a quick canoe ride to watch the sunrise. At that moment we can observe the wonderful changes of color of the sky and the sun, under the song of the birds and feeling the mist and the cold of the morning characteristic of the Amazon forest.

Visit to Flour House

Your guide will take you to a traditional Flour House used by the riverside to toast the cassava flour and its derivatives. In this tour you will learn the whole process of how cassava flour is made, from the way the cassava is planted until it is taken to the oven, where it is crumbled and toasted.

Night Dive Fishing

On this tour, always done in the dry season of the river, you will embark with your guide in the evening for a unique diving fishing experience. You will use a flashlight, a diving mask, a hand-built harpoon and your own hands. The fish, focused with the flashlight, becomes paralyzed, thus facilitating its approach with the harpoon.

Survival in the Amazon Rainforest

On this tour you will learn in practice how to survive in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, taking only what she wants to give you. Going out for jungle survival requires preparation. Your guide will teach you how to enter the jungle, find food and shelter, taking as little as possible, nature will offer you the rest.

Fishing with Bow and Arrow

In this tour you will embark with your guide in a canoe to fish with bow and arrow that is a primitive weapon used for the hunting and the war in several indigenous tribes. Your guide will show you the material from which a bow and arrow are made and will show you in practice its use.

Piranhas Fishing

In this tour you will embark with your guide in a canoe to fish the famous "Piranha" and also other small fish common in the waters of the Amazon forest. This activity can be done both in the drought and in the flood of the river.

Zarabatana Handling

In this tour your guide will teach you to make and handle a blowgun, which is a primitive weapon used for hunting, traditional of several tribes indigenous to the Amazon. Your guide will show you the material from which the blowpipe is made and will show you in practice its use.

Jungle Hike 2

Just as in Jungle Hike 1, always done on little explored trails, but in another region of the Amazon forest, our guide will pass on basic notions of survival in the jungle, providing explanations about the Amazonian wildlife and showing the plants that are edible, medicinal and Useful for the day to day native, plus some wildlife. During this tour you will visit a waterfall called "Army Waterfall" and you can bathe in its cold and limpid water, thus replenishing your energies.

Hunting Tarantulas

In this tour your guide will take you to know the habitat of tarantulas or caranguejeiras, which are characterized by long legs with two claws at the tip and body covered with hair. The tarantula is captured for examination. Then, returned to her lair, unharmed.
